Guest guest
Hare Krishna, Please accept my message. All glories to Sri Sri Radha Krishna. I have some questions about Krishna Consciousness and Muslims. Well, here they are in the open: 1) Is Allah another manifestation of Krishna? (Note: What I mean by this is if Krishna and Allah are of the same Being, just with different Names, according to cultural barriers and spiritual issues). 2) Is it possible to remain culturally " Muslim " and still be a Traditional Krishna devotee? (Note: I read my Quran alongside the Bhagavad-Gita As It Is regularly and have noticed many similarities between Allah and Krishna. Thus again, I wish to tie this 2nd question in with the 1st one). 3) Are there any Muslim followers of Lord Krishna who became Vaisnava and were able to retain most of their Muslim cultural? (Note: I come from a Muslim background and I have still retained some of my Muslim culture. I don't practice Islam anymore nor have I practiced for a year or two, since I first became Krishna Conscious, yet I read the Holy Quran in English and Spanish, along with my English copy of the Bhagavad-Gita As It Is). Hope to hear from some of you soon with your input on these questions. I haven't really made public that I come from a Muslim religious background with that many Vaisnava Krishna devotees, until recently. This is partly due to fear from the very few friends and a couple immediate family members who don't support me as former a Muslim turned Traditional Krishna devotee. Have a nice weekend and Hare Krishna, all of you fellow devotees. Your Newer Krishna Devotee & Eternal Servant, Roger
