Guest guest
HARE KRSNA Dear Devotees, Dandavat pranam. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. We will be holding the Japa class at 08:00 AM EDT this coming Saturday morning. The Japa class will be held by HIS HOLINESS CANDRAMAULI SWAMI, a disciple of HDG AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Class Topic: "Principles of How to Approach Krsna in His Name" About the Speaker: HH Candramauli Maharaja came into the Krishna consciousness movement in 1973 and soon joined devotees at the New Vrindavan farm community. He spent the next decade as a brahmacari serving in the farm, cooking and worshipping the Deities. There he also met HH Radhanath Maharaj, and they both served together for many years. In those years a close relationship was developed, which to this day is as strong as ever! HH Candramauli Maharaja often remembers the austere conditions of those times and tells fond stories. In 1986 he accepted sannyasa and began preaching across America. He has been particularly active in the field of congregational preaching, driving thousands of miles in his van all throughout North America. Maharaja is also in charge of the ISKCON department for preaching in prisons. In the last few years Maharaja has served as a spiritual master, traveling around the world and guiding and inspiring devotees. In addition to America he often visits India ( Sri Mayapur Dham, Chowpaty, etc.) and Europe ( England, Italy, Slovenia, etc.). HH Candramauli Maharaja is known amongst devotees for his ecstatic kirtans and humble association. Maharaj is a returning speaker on The Japa conference.
