Facts behind India -US Nuclear Deal ..

Dear Shri Unnikrishnan ji,

I posted that statement of Sri Sri Ravishankar only to inform the Members about the spiritual opinion of a respected Guru . While other business minded "Gurus" ignore key matters of national interest, Sri Sri gets involved from a Spiritual point of view . And it is worth praising .

Clarification to your comments

The Nuclear Reactors are divided into (2) categories namely Civilian and Military. Only the former is subject to IAEA inspection . India has total control over the latter . Also , India has the right to make this separation .

As a sovereign Democratic Republic , India has independent foreign policy . There is no clause in the Nuclear Deal that requires US approval for India's ties with any other Country .

In reality, all Islamic Countries including Iran are opposing India's Kashmir policy . Iran has no soft corner for India who is the best friend of Iran's arch rival Iraq.

Russia's Nuclear Reactors are unsafe . Remember the Chernobyl Disaster . Also Russia's weapons are very outdated . Remember the "Flying Coffins " ( Mig-21) .

Previously , India and Russia had an alliance against the US - China combination. At that time, Russia was very close to India and was providing latest weapons . Now, situation has changed . Russia is more close with China who is purchasing (3) times more weapons than India. So, India can't depend on Russia anymore .

Necessity of India , US , Israel Friendship

1. India is facing severe energy crisis now and it is going to be worse in future . Nuclear Power is the best option for all Countries . Even the Oil rich Iran is opting for it .

2. China is the biggest threat to both India and US . It is China who is behind Pakistan who is also supported by the Islamic Countries . Israel is facing biggest threat from Pakistan, the only Islamic Nuclear Power . Therefore, both US and Israel are very close to India now .

3. During the Kargil war , it was Israel that fixed precision Laser Missile heads to India's inaccurate Russian Missiles . Also , Israel provided all other precision weapons including Smart Bombs to India . In reality , India owes a lot to Israel for it's Kargil Victory . Also , US forced Pakistan to withdraw from Kargil . Bil Clinton had forced Pakistan to withdraw Atomic weapon from the Warfront .

Internal Weakness of India

How can a patriotic Indian can remain silent , when anti-Indian forces like the pro-Chinese COMMUNISTS and Pro-Pakistan MUSLIM Fanatics are trying to destroy India from within. These forces are trying every means to defeat the India-US Nuclear Deal which is a threat to China and it's strategic ally Pakistan .

During the 1962 India-China war , the COMMUNISTS openly supported China . They even attempted Internal Sabotage in the Army . Consequently , Nehru government was forced to arrest all the Communist leaders and lock them up in Jail till the end of that war . During the Kargil war also , the Communists had supported the Chinese stand . When all other parties pledged unconditional support to the Indian Government Communists refused to declare support !!!!! .

However, during the US-Iraq wars , Communists publicly asked India to send it's Army to Iraq to fight against US !!!!.

Now Communists are saying , Muslims don't like the India-US Nuclear Deal and hence it is to be cancelled . This is absolute, anti-India stuff .

In this context, Sri Sri Ravishankar's open support to the Nuclear Deal is a great help to Bharat Mata . I salute the great Rishi . Thanks and Regards,Krishnadaya

its not the nuclear deal which is opposed but the condition like1UN will check the reactors2 nuclear proloferation stoppage3 cut of tie with iran4 us against oil tie with iran5 when russia is offering better nuclear deal why was it tried,defence minister antony was told not to talk about nuclear deal with russia why us prototype all know usa is so selfish and there attitude and they are not trust worthy iraq war is the classical example they said they have nuclear power and nothing found and now all americans taking the control of the oils factories poor uk peopel they to went there and remained as meer spectator watching the soldiers die and american taking the control of iraq oil fields . ------

Washington, July 10: Invoking national interest, renowned Spiritual Guru, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, has appealed to all Indian political parties to display `magnanimity' and support the troubled Indo-US nuclear deal.

"All parties must support the deal that is beneficial to the country," he said.

India has always had a tradition of the government and opposition coming together in national interest whenever a crisis of war befall on the nation, he said, appealing to all the political parties to display magnanimity on the issue.

"At a time when the country is faced with severe energy shortage, the government has negotiated a nuclear deal with the US, which can augment sustainable energy sources," he said in a statement issued in Seattle.

"The opposition need not oppose everything that the government does," Sri Sri added
