My best wishes to each one of you and your families for a very very

happy DEEPAVALI !

May Lord Guruvayoorappan along with His consort Satyabhama seated on

the back of Garuda Vahanam,as He went to slay Narakasura, shower His

choicest blessings on all! May He bless us with a deluge of His divine

grace so that this country is not turned into "Sonitha-puram" any more,

as is happening these days!

Many thanks for your blessings and wishes. I always look forward to receiving warm tidings from all the members of this group during these special holiday occasions. The previous greetings sent by you on the occasion of Saraswati puja were also very inspiring.

 

Your email prompted me to read dasakam 81 (Salvation of Narakasura) and understand the reference to the word "Sonita Puram" as explained in Volume III, page 1000 of your book. I plan to read this dasakam on the morning of Deepavali.
