When Kamsa had already heard the akashvani that Devaki's eighth child would kill

him, he could have simply prevented Devaki from living with her husband, and

thus he could have avoided the possibility of Krishna being born to Devaki.

However, who can overcome the plan of Krishna? Kamsa was befooled and he just

put Devaki and her husband in the prison together. This ensured Krishna's birth,

and eventually Krishna killed Kamsa! If Kamsa had even suceeded in separating

Devaki from her husband, Krishna would have appeared in some other mysterious

way, anyway. Krishna had to come, so no one can stop Krishna.

The fact is that we cannot fool Krishna, or upset his plans, it is Krishna who

ensures all His plans work well, and no one can put Krishna under any illusion,

while we all are forced to work under the illusory energies set forth by

Krishna, till we become faithful devotees of Krishna and one pointedly seek the

truth about Krishna, instead of acting out of envy and hatred in this world.

A devotee will always try to please Krishna, by whatever means he can. This is

the business of devotees:to please Krishna. It is upto Krishna to give results.

Our job is to chant as much as we can the Holy name of Krishna, and also

propogate this method of self-realisation to others who do not know.

Hare Krishna!
