Guest guest
Hi, The compilation is good one, but it portrays a negative image of Narayana who symbolizes Love and is ever forgiving. With all due regards to Swami Sivananda, it would be better if you list the blessing of Narayana when we do small good deeds. Instead of telling Bhakts what not to do, it would be much better if you tell what to do and what benefits we get out of it. The attached lists gives a very hard & tough image of Narayana. To quote a small example from Srimad Bhagwat: Putna raksha(demon) who had come to kill baby Krishna by offering him poisoned milk, was give the status of Mother, at par with Yoshada & Devaki. In spite of her being a Raksha(Demon) she had offered milk (food) to Lord, and the ever forgiving Lord, ever loving lord forgave all her sins, and delivered her to heaven. So, a small act of kindness, a small act of mercy to others, a small offering to poor with the attitude that you are serving the Narayana inside them will deliver you of all sins. Also, as said in Gita, that the lord delivers someone out of all the sins, the if the persons come to him with true acceptance. So my utmost request lets us the spread the blessing of lord, rather than portraying a image the he there to punish you through Bad karma. Let the lord decide how to bring us to correct path when we do something wrong. Narayana can overrule all the list provided if he wishes in a moment. Bad karma can be erased with a single moment of true request to Narayana. Rather than worrying what not to do after reading the list, just live live with your mind at the lotus feet of Narayana. He will guide you what to do & what not do. Om Namo Narayana On Behalf Of Krishna dayaTuesday, March 17, 2009 7:42 PM Subject: Bad - Karma and Diseases.......( By Swamy Sivananda) Hare Krishna !
