Guest guest
hare krishna: i really like some of the information about vedic wisdom in krishna-realization. am a former iskcon-irm member turned traditional devotee and i have found bhagavan sri krishna himself to be my only true guru, although i honor srila prabhupada, srila narayana, other vaisnava vedic leader-teachers as saintly devotees who brought krishna-bhakti to the western world in this previous 20th century. the posts from the bhagavad-gita scripture and even jnappana, along with other krishna-bhakti texts has helped me become a more self-realized devotee. bhagavan sri krishna has truly blessed me with truth and has guided me toward becoming who he wants me to become in the offering most pleasing to him. i used to study world religions, thinking that i would be happiest being interfaith for about a year or so. yet, krishna has revealed to me bhagavad-gita 18.66, in which i would have to give up all religions and surrender to him only. currently, i am in the process of this surrendering of myself to lord krishna. at first, i was disturbed about all this surrendering of my all to him, but now i am less afraid and more willing to devote all areas of my life to his system of bhakti-yoga. keep up the good work and sharing the nectar of krishna-realization with those like myself on the worldwide web. i like being a devotee or bhakta very much. usually don't post much on the group, yet when there are a series of other members' posts which catch my eye in receiving the messages in daily digest reading options with my ! mail account--i feel led to post a message expressing my appreciation and passion of being a devotee. will post, if i come across some more posts which inspire me to write. hare krishna, bhakta paul
