Krsna my dear devotees. I hope your chanting has been peaceful this

weekend and you have started the week with your mind focused on the

service you have developed to the Lord. Our mind always drives our

thoughts to our own desires, tricking us in so many different ways

saying we are the owners of this world and we need to have everything

we want to be happy....but what is the secret to the happiness everyone

is looking for? Maybe we are still trying to find happiness in the

wrong places even knowing our eternal relationship with Krsna is the

source of all bliss we might have.This world is full of

attractions that try to change our attention to other things rather

than our eternal position as spiritual souls. We are still acting based

on this bodily conception of life and the key to understanding us as

eternal souls is the chanting of the holy names. By doing that we can

understand we are not this body and have a life based on spiritual

matters and not only in satisfying the body in many different ways. If

we base our life in seeking for the Lord's satisfaction instead of

frustration, we will have bliss and our soul will find eternal and real

love in this relationship, isn't it the only way to be happy? Yes and

all starts from chanting our rounds with full devotion and

concentration, thinking we are developing our relationship with Krsna

through chanting which makes us more and more aware we are not this

body and we identify with the Lord as His eternal servant. When we

chant we ask for service because that's why we are here for - to serve

so we need to serve our real master, Krsna and not our desires which

will never end.I have heard in a class today how the Lord

reciprocates with the devotees through prayer in many different ways,

giving us what we need to serve Him properly. We have no need to

complain and for the ones who are sincere, He gives the intelligence to

serve Him accordingly.May our lives be full of bliss coming from the supreme reciprocation which will inspires us more in our japa.your servant,

Aruna devi-- Take advantage of this rare opportunity of this human form of life.  There are 8,400,000 different species of life through which we are rotating lifetime after lifetime. So getting a human body is not an every day affair. This most auspicious opportunity only comes after many millions of lifetimes in the lower species. Anyone who does not utilize their human life for self-realization is making the greatest mistake. When this happens it is the greatest tragedy, and unfortunately today this neglect of the human form has become the standard behavior for the entire human society. What can be done? We must first ourselves become solidly situated in Krishna consciousness and then do the highest welfare activity of spreading to everyone else all over the world.
