Guest guest
Hare Krishna ! Pranams to Bhagavan Sreekrishna and His Bhaktas, Sree Krishna Janmashtami ( AshtamiRohini ) wishes to You all !!! Numerous `Mahatamas' ( great men) have taken birth in this world . But , Sree Krishna is the all time greatest . He is the `Paramaguru ' ( Supreme Spiritual Master ) and the ultimate role model, of all times . Sree Krishna's activities and view points , teach us in minute detail, all we need to know and practise in our personal and social lives . Bhagavan's life and advices are eternal . It gives equal importance to a person's self confidence and society's growth . It is not easy to overcome the tough situations in life and the laws of nature . Be it a man , animal or plant , every living entity has to struggle with many difficulties in life , pass through tests and to do hard work patiently , to survive . By such efforts only one can grow and develop ; and attain knowledge and maturity . This is the greatest message Krishna has given to the world through His own life . Sree Krishna advised men to face the life courageously . Without the feeling of "I am the doer" one should perform his duties to the best of his ability with the conviction that " Everything is done by the Supreme God , I am just an instrument of it " . By doing so one's `karma' becomes a service to God . One should adhere to the fact that "Whatever is the area of `karma', Dharma is the basis of life" . When we see a perfectly round pebble on a river shore , we admire it's beauty . But do we think, how this pebble managed to attain this perfect shape ? . It was originally part of a shapeless rock . One day , a portion of that rock fell down. Heavy downpour brought it to the flowing river . For many years, it flowed in the river . Colliding with rock , sand and water , it's sharp edges, and irregularities got chiseled . Many years of evolution like this ultimately resulted in the beautiful form we see now . By passing through such a natural transition , men, animals and plants have to encounter many difficult situations . Then only it can attain perfection . By disobeying the laws of nature , one will only be harming himself . Bhagavan Krishna taught the man ` Not to abscond from the challenges in his prescribed duties to relatively easier options . And to face those challenges with courage and steadiness of mind ' . Those who abscond from situations will never be fine , happy and successful . Sree Krishna was the well wisher of all beings both with and without life . But he was not a relative of anyone . Detachment was His real attribute . When one has desire, equality and equanimity will not exist . Sree Krishna was love personified not attached to anyone but treated everyone as equal . The particular situation in Kurukshetra and Gita-advice was an opportunity created by Paramaguru Sree Krishha for the benefit of the entire mankind . "The highly complex human mind , the confusion it causes , the resulting sufferings to man ; and finally when he turns to Bhagavan , the merciful Bhagavan gives him a hand to attain ultimate success " - This is what we visualize in Gita . In external appearance , Krishna was not a typical Sannyasi ( bearing sacred ash all over his body , wearing saffron cloth and having kamandalu ( water pot) in hand and matted hair on head ) . He was neither a total renounciant . Krishna was the supreme leader of Yadavas and a diplomat capable to making and breaking Kings - He was a householder having wives and children – He was the best warrior in the world - He was immensely popular . But, in reality Sree Krishna was far above all these titles . In reality , Krishna was the supreme renunciant , the topmost Sannyasi , the omnisent and omnipotent . He was the only one in the entire universe who has displayed the "Visswarupa " ( universal form ) of God . That is why He is undoubtedly, The Supreme Personality of Godhead . Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya !!! Sreekrishna Dasa Rajeev
