No fable this. 62 and still growing, the world's largest herd of

captive elephants, is posing more than a mammoth problem for the

Guruvayoor Devaswom: How does it maintain the herd of pachyderms that

devotees have given as an offering to Lord Krishna? Or tougher still:

How does it keep donor-devotees at bay?
