We had the evening darshan (around 8.00 PM). Also we had the Nirmalya darshan on the next day. This is the first time I am going there. I felt as if I had a long time association with that place.I have also written a commentary in Tamil for Sriman Narayaneeyam. This is due for publication during August 2004 (by a leading publisher in Tamil Nadu). I started writing this the soon I returned back to Chennai after visiting the Gods' own temple. I think He called me there just to order me to do this work.I shall let know the group the soon this is out in the stalls."Ever in the services of Sri Appan"Sridharan
Guest guest
Dear Shri. Rajaram, Many thanks for your reply. I have gone through the available works on Sriman Narayaneeyam which you have mentioned. What I have done now is have the Tamil transliteration of the sloka on the top and a straight-forward commentary for the same. How this differs from the other commentaries? I have used simple and short Tamil statements instead on long sentences as in few others. Also I made the language simple by avoiding any big Sanskrit parlances used by Vaishnavites. This would help even a layman to understand the same. I have completed the work and it is in press now. Will touch the stands sometime mid august. You may like to join my group at vaishnavism/ for some of my commentaries for the works of Sri Ramanuja (in the files section). Kind regards Sridharan guruvayur , Rajaram Venkataramani <v_raja_ram> wrote: > dear sridharan - > > as you may know, there is a translation of narayaneeyam by sri. m.k. venkatraman. this has been published by the little flower company. i suppose there are a few others. are you planning to translate or write a commentary. which school of vedanta is it based on ? > > rajaram v > > sridharan_kay <no_reply > wrote: > " Krishna Guruvayoorappa " > > I went to Guruvayur in the third week of Feb 2004 alongwith my wife > and son.
