Guest guest
Be it advaitaita, visishtadvaitha, dvaitha, bheda abheda - all are equal before HIM. HE makes no distinction whatsoever and no one can limit HIM within our understanding. This was taught by King Maha Bali, who had the body of an asura. Sri Narayana Battathri in his Narayaneeyam writes - When the Lord became Thrivikrama and grows up and up, the asuras started moving towards HIM to fight a war. At that time, Mahabali stops them and says, " With whom you want to fight? The Brahmam is here before us, crossing all the boundries " . Even after this, we claim this philosophy is superior, that philosophy is inferior etc - we are trying to limit the lord. And this is not the way of great persons like King Maha Bali. I strongly believe that ultimate Bhakthi - in the foot steps of Sri Radha, the Gopikas, Andal, Meera, Jayadeva, Tukkaram, Tulasidas, Thyagaraja, Purandaradasa, Narayana Bhattathiri, Poonthanam, Narottama the list is endless .... will only lead us to achieve the goals of this life and afterlife. Some aruge that my school alone is correct and some say Sri Sankara is an atheist, mayavadhi etc. This will only deviate us only from the path of devotion because we disrespect devotees. During Sankara's time, India was entirely filled with diferent types of religions and Sankara uprooted them to re-establish the vedanta - the path of devotion and knowledge. After him, as time passed, there was degradation. The path of devotion was revived by Sri Ramanuja. Then it was done by Vedanta Desikar, Madhwa, Manavala Mamunigal, Caitanya, the rupa, jiva gosvamis, Baladeva, Visvanatha, Prabhupada etc. whenever there was a decline in devotion and spiritual knowledge. Though the lord is beyond comprehension of dull intellect, we do Vedanta vicaram only because great acharyas like Sankara, Ramanuja, Madhwa etc. have done that. We may also refuse to do Vedantha Vicaram and follow the process of pure bhakti as Sri Caitanya did. For those following the path of devotion, vedanta vicharam is helpful in building conviction. Our motive should be to live by what Lord Sri Krishna told. We should not criticize any acharya just because they have different visions of the truth. They are more intelligent than us. Intelligent people should come together to prevent this degration and protect vedic culture.
