Guest guest
Dear Blessed Child of Lord Guruyvayoorappan, Om Namah Shivaya!Om Namo Narayana! I happened to read your query and immediately, the teachings of AMMA came into my mind which read as under: SatGuruMata Amritanandamayi SAYS: " If only you can let go of all your attachments, then the pain of death will turn into an experience of bliss. " May Lord Guruvayoorappan Be always with you and continue to Bless You and all Your family members with His Richest Blessings. Have faith in the Lord Om Lokah Samastha Sukino Bhavanthu! May all living beings in the entire world be Happy and peaceful. Guest guest
No one knows for sure as all those experinced are no more. But one thing is sure, there is no scientific theory behind what you heard about death. Don't worry about that too much! --Pramod. arunr_kundra <no_reply > wrote: Hare Rama Hare Krishna I have one doubt about death I saw one thing about death that the death is very much painful that is some what equals 10000 scorpion byte.I want to know is it right or not If any one know the answer please send me the replayIf it is a foolish question please forgive Arun. Guest guest
Dear Arun, The personification of death-feeling as you wrote appears very narrative. As per my thinking this comparison to " 10000 Scorpion bite " is just to approximate the intensity of pain a human body encounters that time. That can be true if our conciousness is that much immersed in flesh. Take for instance, in Srimad Bhagawattam King Parikshit was well aware of the type of death he is going to face on the 7th day. But he planned to train his mind to rise above the concept of material death & travelled on the way to spiritual upliftment. Death was certain......but he added a meaning to his life by fully immersing himself in Krishna-katha. I don't think he'd felt any material pain, because he had already associated with Lord right before his so-called death. Let us not think about death .......add meaning to our life.......Invite Krishna-Bhakti to our life. Then we are saved for ever. And my friend your question is not a foolish one.......it tunes our thinking. I hope I am not much deviated from your question's implication. Please receive my Pranams. God Bless You. At the Lotus feet of Sri Guruvayoorappan. HARE RAMA HARE RAMA RAMA RAMA HARE HARE....................................... Guest guest
Birth disease oldage death , nothing is in hands of human,we are under the instance of maya and when we embrace this shadow of maya we tend to forget the reason for ourliving in this temporary space, where ultimate happiness is still not under the reach of the so called human where we have defined seconds days months ,The difference of being a human with animal is that we enjoy comfort in everything but what we do is all the same .We come to this world as a punishment or suffering where we need to complete our punishment being good and praising our creators so that we get relieved from the cluthches of this evil world of maya to the place of angels, where the ultimate happiness is defined . -Sajeev Pramod JP [pramod_jp1] Tuesday, November 16, 2004 2:37 AM guruvayur Re: [Guruvayur/Guruvayoor] Query No one knows for sure as all those experinced are no more. Guest guest
Om Namo Naarayanaaya. I happened to learn recently the Kootta Prarthana introduced by Brahmashree Anjham Madhaavan Namboori after Deeparadhana in Guruvayoor Kshethram which was initially started by Brahmashree Neelakandan Namboori in Oottupura some 60 years ago. The same article adds that such a Kootta Prarthana is not performed elsewhere. Maaruthadheeswarah ninkrupaa varshathaal Paarinekkaakkane Naarayana Lokathilengume Mangalappoomari Lokaikanaayaka thookidene. With this prayer,I would like to add mine to the comments of Pramod for the query by Arun. I read other devotees comments too on this. Like Pramod said, no one knows for sure the experience of Death. On the same coin, no one Living, remember the pains of Birth either. For there is no definite line of control for the Pain and Pleasure. One ends and the other begins and the cycle goes on. The Bliss after death could be better as none has returned to narrate the experience. Like Amma said, do not worry over the past and there is no point in worrying about the future either. Enjoy the present and do all the good things that you can. Atleat do not hurt others physically or mentally. That alone should be the motto of life. May lord Guruvayoorappan bless all. Guest guest
Namo Naarayana.... Does anyone really die? Only the body disappears from this earth. But the memories linger. Memories stay back . and is passed on to generations and generations. And we mention the deceased almost every day in some context. My dad expired 17 years ago.. and there is not a single day when I dont remember him.. and when me and my mom mention something about him. God bless you all Regards Chandra Sekharan Menon <chandrasmenon2002 wrote: Om Namo Naarayanaaya. Guest guest
SRI RAMA JAYAM Started with a very interesting subject on Guruvayoor Ekadasi. Thanks Suresh. In the Malayalam calendar, I found yet another interesting day called Thripprayar Ekadasi, falling in the mid December. When the supreme God-Head manifested in the best of his two forms as Lord Krishna & Lord Rama, who revealed their cosmic play in the Bharatavarsham being documented as Srimad Bhagavattam & Srimad Ramayanam, very well known to each fragment of this world. Would be interested to read if any of the devotees can come up with the exact detail as to how these two Ekadasi's differ being placed approximately on either sides of the same month. Also please add on their Mahatmyams. Thanks in advance to all efforts to be laid ahead. At the Lotus feet of Sri Guruvayoorappan................... Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare Suresh [suresh] Tuesday, November 23, 2004 7:40 PM guruvayur [Guruvayur/Guruvayoor] Query Om Namo Narayanaaya Yesterday was Guruvayoor Ekadasi which most of them would have attained. Let us be more ritualistic and gather blessings from the Lord. There are various historical projections about the importance of Ekadasi. Kindly let us know.
