Guest guest
My dear esteemed members of the group: Sri Guruvayoorappa Sharanam, Sri Krishnaaya Parabrahmane Namaha Tomorrow, Saturday, the 12th of February is the Vishnupadi. Could someone in the group kindly elaborate on the relevance of this religious observance. I know that Visnupadi is the other name for Holy Ganga, since she is said to originate from the lords feet (pada of Vishnu). I was planning on reciting the Vishnusahasranamam, and Narayaneeyam as usual, and offer a prasadam with love and devotion to the lord. Is their anything else that would be specific to this observance by the way of dietary restrictions and/or ritualism that a devotee must observe in order to experience the complete satisfaction of serving the lord. Thanks for your responses, I look forward to them, Sincerely, Narasimhan Nagan Shrewsbury, MA
