I do have an English copy of the Narayaneeyam but all the slokas are in Sanskrit and so far except for slokas such as 'Saandraanandavabodhan.....' which I could memorize, I have just been reading only the meanings, because most of the slokas I find very difficult to pronounce. So this comes as a great blessing to have the slokas in English! If you plan to do this for all the dashakaas many of us will be indebted to you.God bless. Also thanks for taking the trouble to write so extensively abt the book on Kaikeyi. To my mind she is the lady whom Shri Ram granted Moksha and always loved inspite of her evil deeds. Because the bottom line is she is the mother and Shri Ram always considered her in that light. It is said that there can be a bad son, but not a bad mother. Again it is interesting that somebody has taken the trouble to do some extensive research on her and give her her due place in our culture. Regarding the books by Shri Pandurang Shastri Athavale, I do have books such as the Geetamrutam, Sanskriti poojan (on the significance of different festivals), the Dashavtaar, the Shree Sooktham, all in Hindi and the Valmiki Ramayan or Ramayan Darshanam in English. If there is a Swadhyay centre and I think there are a few in Banglore, they usually have book sales on a weekly basis or can put you in touch with people who can get the books for you. But his Geetamrutam is a must read. In his usual simple and loving style, but with so much of wisdom he very neatly gives very clear explanations of most of the important slokas in the Gita. Only sad thing is that Swadhyayees are pretty protective of his books and casettes and so these are difficult to access if you are a non-Swadhyayee.
