Dear Sunita and group:

As Sunita asked me about the VCDs of Sanskrit classes, I am sending this. I am

watching the classes whenever I have time. Its really good. So, if anyone else

interested, please get them and start. Its convenient that you need not go for a

class.

The info is available at http://www.samskrita-bharati.org/

Also, you could send an email to samskritabharatibooks mentioning your

name and address and telling you would like to get those CDs.

The price for the VCDs is $60.00 and they would charge something for shipping.

There are 20 VCDs in total in the pack.

I dont know if anyone else has mentioned this before me. In that case, please

never mind.

Thanks

Siva.

dear sunita and all,

thank you for the information about " kalidas " group. I also joined.

Even I have a passion to learn Sanskrit. We had Sanskrit in school

and even in college. But that time i was not aware of the importance

of the language. Later I read a book by Malliyoor Sankaran

Namboodiri, he explains the importance of learing the Language, in

which Ramayanam is written. He ask to learn Sanskrit, jsut for

reading and Ramayanam, however be the time it takes,

But I think that is not an essential thing. Because we all know the

story of Gopasthreekal at Vrindavanam. And He Himself told that He

likes " Poonthanam's Bhakthi rather than Bhattathiri's Vibhakthi " .So

I think you don't have to be sad of not knowing Sanskrit. But once

you get the chance learn it and enjoy the all precious Puranas.
