Hare Krishna.

The following hymn is a dedication made by the late Sri Paramacharya of

Kanchi.to Sri DEVI DURGA.

 

1) They dhyanayoganugatha apasyan twameva devim swagunairnigudam

Twamewa sakthyhi parameswarasya maam paahi sarweswari mokshadhatri II

(Those who practicised the yoga of meditation saw you alone,O Devi,hidden in

your qualities (Gunas).You alone are the puissance of Parameswara.Protect

me,all-encompassing Goddess, the giver of Moksha.)

 

2) Devathmasakthyhi sruthyvakhyagita maharshilohasya pura prasanna

Guha param vyoma satha: prathishta maam pahi sarweswari mokshadhatri II

( You are the puissance of the divine Self extolled in the scripture.You

manifest yourself before the Sages and You are the Reality in the heart of all.

Protect me,O Sarveswari,the bestower of Moksha.)

 

3) Parasya shakthyhi vividhaiva shruyase shwethaswavakyodhithadevi durgay

Swabhaviki gyanabhalakriya they maam pahi sarweswari mokshadhatri II

(You are the variegated power of Brahman,so the scripture declares.You are the

Devi of the Svetasvatara Upanishad.Knowledge and strength natural to beings are

yours.Protect me,O Sarweswari,the giver of moksha)

 

4) Devathmashabthena shivathmabootha yathkoormavayavyavachovivrithya

Twam paasavichedhakari prasiddha maam pahi sarweswari mokshadathri II

( You are the Self of Siva--the word Devatma in the Kurma and Vayavya Puranas

explains it.You are well known as the destroyer of bondage.Protect me, O

Sarweswari,the giver of moksha)

 

5) Twam brahmapuchha vividha mayuri brahmaprathishtasyupathishtageetha

Gyanaswarupathmadhayakilanam maam pahi sarweswari mokshadathri II

( You are the peacock whose plumage is Brahman. Brahman is your basis.You reside

in the form of knowledge in all beings.You are the expounder

of the GITA.Protect me ,O Sarweswari, the giver of moksha.)

 

Reciting the above slokas will give mental poise,peace and prosperity.
