Om Namo Narayanaya.

In slokas 12.1 through 12.5, God states "maayya-veshya-mano ye maam" -- fix your mind on Me; further, "nitya-yukta upaasate" worship Me, steadfast and balanced at all times and "shraddhaya paryopetaa" - submit totally to Me.

Further, Krishna makes it clear that for us human beings who identify ourselves with the body, the way of bhakti in which we worship a personal form of the Lord, is the easier way; we can lovingly look upon the face of the Lord and try to fix our minds on Him. And for those who do this--

"Ye tu sarvaani karmaani mayi sanyasya mat-paraaha

Ananya-naiva yogena maam dhyayant upaasate" 12.6

'Those who surrender all works to Me, making Me their Supreme goal and worship Me, meditating on Me in a state of undivided union'

"teshaam aham samud-dhartaa mrutyu-sansaar-saagaraat

bhavaami na chiraat-Paartha mayya-veshit-chetasaam" 12.7

'I shall soon be the deliverer of them all from the sea of empirical life- the sea of samsaar'

"mayyev man aadhat-sva mayi buddhim niveshaya

niva-si-shya-si may-yev atha urdhvam na samshaya" 12.8

'Fix your mind on Me alone, let your understanding be absorbed in Me (let your intellect be absorbed in Me), henceforth without any doubt, you will dwell in Me alone'

Over the next several slokas Krishna then outlines the steps for making (and reaching) Him as the ultimate goal.

Om Namo Narayanaya.
