Guest guest
Namaskar This week's page from Hindu Dharma is "Who is Responsible for the Decay of Varna Dharma?" from "The Vedic Religion And Varna Dharma" at http://www.kamakoti.org/hindudharma/part3/chap6.htm, which is attached with this email. Here are the first few lines from this page: Politicians and intellectuals alike say that jati is part of an uncivilized system. Why? Who is responsible for the disintegration of so worthy an arrangement as varna dharma? These are question that I raised and I shall try to answer them. The wrong ideas that have developed about varna dharma must be ascribed to the Brahmins themselves. They are indeed responsible for the decay of an ages-old system that... (see attachment for more) Next week we will send you the page "The Least Expected of Brahmins" from "The Vedic Religion And Varna Dharma". Subscribing and Unsubscribing info at www.kamakoti.org/feedback/sendhindudharma.php (This email has been sent using automated tasks) Please report problems, if any, to feedback Note: Hindu Dharma is a translation of two volumes of the well known Tamil Book "Deivatthin Kural", which, in turn, is a book of 6 volumes that contains talks of His Holiness Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Mahaswamiji of Kanchipuram. The entire book is available online at www.kamakoti.org ..
Guest guest
-Hari-OM -A few weeks ago some members had suggested that the Guruvayoor page be reserved for articles related to Guruvayoorappan and related matters. I agree with that suggestion. I wonder what is the relevance of 'Hindu Dharma page' explaining the causes and effects of the decay of Varna Dharma? Are we not really deviating from the path of Bhakthi when we start to propagate the Jati/Caste segregation through this media? What are the views of the other members? Jai Shree Krishna! Guest guest
dear members i hardly contribute any article to our group but i am a regular reader of all the mails and articles. we are benefited by these mails a lot which grow more and more krishna bakshi in our mind and give lots of information about Lord and Guruvayoor.i am a housewife and hardly got any chance or time in my past years to read His leelas and it is His highest blessings on me that i am in this group.I enjoy reading all mails and articles though i am not responding regularly. May be this is the situation with many mambers of our group.Hence the low participation. Anyway I profusely thank all the members who contribute so much with their beautiful articles on Lord and Guruvayoor. it is also my earnest opinion that let us stick to the principle that the site be reserved only for the articles related to Guruvayoorappan and Bakthi matters. May Lord Guruvayoorappan shower his blessings on all members of this group Vijaya-------guruvayur , " krishnanujan " <krishnanujan> wrote: > -Hari-OM > > -A few weeks ago some members had suggested that the Guruvayoor page > be reserved for articles related to Guruvayoorappan and related > matters.
