!! Swamiye Sharanam Ayyappa !!

 

Dear friends this happened yesterday.

 

We had The Dubai Ayyappa Puja yesterday at the Dubai Shiva Temple.

For some reason this conducted at the Shiva temple since they were

having this at a different venue previously. Since the Shiva temple

is more accessible to me; I decided to attend the same.

 

Swami Sharanam we had a very good puja and I had witnessed all the

Abishekam for the first time from a close range since I could sit

very near the stage. I must appreciate the efforts of the Ayyappa

Sangam for coming with a very good puja and all done very well.

 

Now coming the real point, I am staying in Sharjah about 20KM from

Dubai. Since the puja is conducted on Firday it is difficult to get

a share taxi to Dubai early morning, so I decided to go at about 7

am when there would be more people traveling to Dubai. Under this

presumption I woke up early and left for the temple. While I came

out of my building I realized was very dark and it was a very foggy

morning. Luckily I got a taxi after waiting for about 10 mts. Thus I

reached the temple before the Abishekam started. He puja and bhajan

finished at about 2PM, I came back home and was discussing the days

incidents to my wife and told her that it was very dark and foggy

today morning. To this she said, I had left home at 6am and not 7 am

as I had presumed. Later I realized, if I had left at 7 I would have

reached the temple at 7.30 to 7.45 and if would have taken at least

an hour to get inside the temple due to heavy rush on Fridays, and I

would have missed the Abishekam as well as never found the place to

sit, to attend the whole function. I must thank Appayya Swami for

helping me in this way. Thou a small incident I thot I would share

this with you all.
