[Guruvayur/Guruvayoor] computer virus

This is an information about a new virus, This Last two days most of them

getting a fake mail something like a picture attachment or a video attachment

From the Friend's Address, Actually it is not sending by them. It is a virus

(worm) named win32.blackmal.E@mm

The attachment size will be around 179Kb to 184Kb. Please note that this

Virus will use mail subject as an already used subject line

This mail will help you to identify that mails......

(1) This are examples of virus mail ....

 

(2) This are the attachments ....

 

(3) And picture message attached like this, But the files are not there

..... So all of them will go to open that attachment ...........

 

(4) is not scanning this files

 

(5) See ... An antivirus detected this virus

 

(6) So dont open this attachments ....

(7) It will create a file named Winzip_temp.exe in ur system - Delete it (

End from the task manager also )

(8) remove This entrys from startup - scanreg and update.exe

(9) Also deleate C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start

Menu\Programs\Startup\winzip*.exe

(10) End ctfmon.exe from task manager

(11) I attaching some commands

copy and paste it into " RUN " (one by one )

Settings\History "

RD /S /q " C:\Documents and Settings\ Username\Local Settings\History "

RD /S /q " C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Temp "

RD /S /q " C:\Documents and Settings\Username \Local Settings\Temporary

Internet Files "

Change Username as your windows username ...

(13) Download and run Fix..
