My son's chicken pox has gone and he is feeling very well now - thanks to all your prayers. But now myself and my husband are having it. We contacted many gyneacs in kerala and except for one, they are of the unanimuous opinion that since I have completed 16 weeks of pregnancy, nothing will happen to the baby. But the doctor here in the hospital where we usually go, advised us to have an injuction which gives immunity to the baby as well as a blood test for me each week for 4 weeks to see the extent of increase in infection, and if the infection is high, then we have to think about the future course of action. We were completely down on hearing it. And then she referred me to Government health centre saying the medicine and blood test is done only in Govt hospitals, but unfortunately, after waiting for 2 hours in the govt hospital, we were informed that there was no such medicine or blood test being done in that hospital. But a senior gyneac in the country itself told me not to worry. Feeling a little better now. i dont have much fever or body pain, and the blisters are less, but my husband has got very acute infection. Every morning and evening, I am lighting lamp and chanting prayers, vishnusahrasanamam and Lalitha sahasranamam. I hope its ok if I chant it at this time. She was born on aug 20th, visakham star. We named her Vaishnavi. We were all very worried as I had chicken pox when I was 17 weeks pregnant. I had 3 days bhajan in Guruvayoor and had a nice time.
