Jagannath rath yatras Tuesday April 18 2006 10:34 IST THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sri Sri Jagannath Ratholsavams (rath yatras) will be organised here and at Parassala under the auspices of Krishnastu Bhagavan Svayam Charitable Trust in replication of the Jagannath Rath Yatra of Puri Lord Jagannatha Temple.The idols of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balarama and goddess Subhadra will be taken out in a chariot during the ratholsavam, which will be held at Parassala on April 28. The procession will start its journey from Karakonam junction at 3 p.m. It will reach the Parassala Mahadevar Temple auditorium after traversing Kannuvanmoodu Palukal Kudavilakam,

Neduvanvila and Puthenchanthai.The ratholsavam will be held here on April 30. The chariot procession carrying the idols of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balarama and goddess Subhadra will start its journey from the OTC Hanuman Temple near the PMG Junction. It will conclude at the Priyadarshini Hall at Kottackakam, East Fort.The procession will pass through Palayam, Statue, Ayurveda College Junction and Padmanabhaswamy Temple.
