Om Namo Narayana

Congratulations to all. This is a very good beginning and with

Guruvayoorappan grace we should be having this issue regularly. In

fact we do have the Vishu Saharanama translations contributed by

Sunitha which too can be part of Navaneetham which is very much her

original contribution. The Geetha Translations too can be taken up

again in right earnest. More articles too can be included in this,

which is more of compilation of the discussion we have in this forum

and this work is not intended for sale or profit.

As Sri Sukumar is rightly pointed, while printing special attention

must be given to the way it is done. Just photocopying in BW would

be a big injustice to this work and we are not sure how far the

receiving person is going to save and preserve it. Going by the

tendency of the current generation of having everything in

disposable form it would be better to go for good Colour printing

with a good binding.

On printing we had discussed this in one of the Guruvayoor

Development plan in the initial years of this forum, wherein I had

taken up the issue of the various music cassette companies printing

beautiful and very colourful posters and leaflets for advertising

their music cassette, no problem with this posters, but when those

posters are pasted in all sort of places and some of them get torn

and tattered it looks very distasteful for the eyes since in our

homes we pray to god in the form of pictures and the same picture is

used on the posters as well, but those get in to very bad condition.

I wanted the Devasom to request all such music companies and others

not use to pictures of Gods and Goddess on any advt material which

is of a perishable nature. In our case too please do not make cheap

photocopies, take good care and make only good colour copy with an

equally good binding. And when this is given to somebody ensure they

give the book the respect it rightly deserves.

Narayana….
