Upasaddinangal (Upasath Days) orOupavasathyam Ahass From this I understand that the word stands for 'day';and hence the 'Ahassu' offering to our Bhagavan atGuruvayoor may be consisting parts of all the dailypujas.See if someone could add on to this info.RegardsBalagopalNARAYANA NARAYANA NARAYANASend instant messages to your online friends http://in.messenger. Guest guest
HARI AUM 'Ahassu' is a regular daily offering to our Bhagavan at Guruvayoor. The rate is Rs1000/-. I think the amount is not substantial to cover the expenses of all the daily pujas. May be a part of all. That way it is an ideal offering by which one will be able to participate in all the pujas to Bhagavan. The 'Udayasthamana' puja costs around Rs40000/-?? and a waiting period of more than 10 years ?? Think of it!! and promote it.(as Bhagavan said: Udharet Atmanatmanam..) Regards Balagopal NARAYANA NARAYANA NARAYANA --- " Upama. Menon.
