Guest guest
Dear all, It is a good one and very apt one, too. God can be held firmly to oneself only with one bond; that is Bhakti. " PURUSHAH SA PARAH PARTHA, BHAKTYA LABHYASTWANANYAYA; YASYA ANTHASTHANI BHOOTHANI YENA SARVAMIDAM THATHAM. " ( The Supreme Purusha, the abode of all beings can be attained by unswerving and exclusive devotion to Him alone): B.G. VIII/22. Many people think that by attaining spiritual knowledge by reading only Vedas and Upanishads, they can attain the Lord. They are sadly mistaken. " Prematmaka Bhakti " alone will take one to the Lord. Jnana without Bhakti will serve no purpose. But unswerving Bhakti will build Jnana along with it when it develops, and lead one to salvation. Love K.V. Gopalakrishna.
