Guest guest Posted June 7, 2006 Report Share Posted June 7, 2006 Sri Hari DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR CHILDREN With great joy, tremendous hope, and as a humble offering at the Lotus feet of Sriman Narayana, we are bringing out a music-cum-dance ensemble production titled " Naama Vaibhavam……Anir vachaneeyam " (INEFFABLE GLORY OF THE DIVINE NAME OF THE LORD!) 13th June, 2006 (Tuesday) Venue: Ravindra Bharathi Time: 6.00 PM – 9.30 PM. The song compositions and dance recitals are based on highly divine music reaching out to a crescendo…in an attempt to bring out the beauty of Nama-Sankeertana in itself, and its ease and efficacy in reaching out to the highest, in attaining eternal bliss… The programme will bring out the evolution of Nama, Vedas and Nada out of the Pranava Mantra viz: AUM and will artistically depict Nadopasana and Nama-Sankeertana, two music based Margas to reach the Lord… ABOUT THE PROGRAMME Srishti begins in silence…it ends in silence… all else in between is Sound (Shabda).. The programme is presented in two halves 1. Sangeetam: Devout, Classical music based on few compositions of Saint-composers who attained the highest and did Nadopasana, along with a keertana extolling the greatness of Vedas and the need to cherish them. 1. Nrityam: Pandharpur Bhaktas, the doyens of Nama-Sankeertana Yoga. The dances will be performed to Marathi Abhangs as well as to other compositions.
