Guest guest
Om namo narayana: Dear All, It is surprising this discussion still going. Let us stop this by understanding few points as given below:. Sri Mohan nair was quoting: Sri Guruvayoorappan has no objection: How do we know that Sri Guruvayoorappan has no objection if somebody doing something against his wish. For example: In my office, In front of me, there are two chairs for the visitors. If one of the client comes and sit on it before I give permission or without respecting, I will keep quiet, but that doesn't mean I like his behaviour, it is because of I need him. Same way, we understand our Lord always there pardon the mistakes of his beloved devotees. Show your greatness by obeying rules and regulations of the Temple. Issue of Religion: Sri Vayalar Ravi(MP) has married to Smt Merci, a Christian woman. Their son got married in Guruvayoor Temple (There are some issues after, just ignore that). It is a clear example that there is no such restrictions remaining in Guruvayoor. There are some christians doing " Choronu " for their Children in Guruvayur. But it is very secret because some of the churches against it and afraid of their action. It will continue as it is and it will not affect our belief instead you can be proud that they are accepting our belief. Permission to all: If you change the present set up, it will become a tourist spot. This will affect the entire set up there. At present, the temple and its surroundings keeps purity. When we consider this factor, you must think many aspects are correlated to it. A hindu maintains the vegetarinism atleast when he goes to the temple. He tries to keep his surroundings clean and tidy (Exceptions are there) and so on. All these will be changed suddenly. Moreover, nobody has clear idea about when the present system is started. Let us leave this matter to Temple authority to consider how and what changes they have to make since the decision should pass through a " Devapreshnam " . We can understand the feelings of our group members. Each and every member wants to be dear to God and trying to do their best for our Bhagawan. There are lots of conversions going on and it is not started today or yesterday. Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa had faced such a crucial point at the end of eighteenth Century from Christians and Islam. He constructed a defending wall by his hard belief. He delegated Naren (Swami Vivekananda) to teach the people messages of God (Bhagawat Gita) and First time in the history of hinduism spread out of India. He was the first and last person from India who had made tremendous speech in the Chicago Religios Parliament. We must adopt his way of teaching. Hindus are being confused very easily because of their ignorance in the vedas and puranas. There is no " Sandhyanamam " in most of the houses now a days. There is no proper guidance to the children and youth in our " Ism " . There are many organisations who are doing best for the communicty in the country and outside country, but their efforts limited in a small percentage. Talk about GITA, talk about our Bhagawan Sri Krishna where ever you can. Spread Gita every where. Let everyone to understand the messages of Bhagawan Shri Krishna. You will be very dear to Sri Guruvayoorappan. Krishna ....Guruvayoorappa.. Murali. These brahmacaris are the head-pujaris of the most beutiful RadhaKrishna deities in the world. They are the most down to earth and amongst the most devout Krishna Bhaktas in this world. Their days and nights are spend in thinking " how to serve Radha Krishna better? " and acting in the most befitting manner. They are a great example and great inspiration, even for indians. Major portion of their life is spend decorating the deities, cooking for the deities, stitching newer and better clothes for Radha Krishna, performing arati for Radha Krishna, reading Gita and Bhagavatam.... still so simple and a feeling very humble and unqualified. To see a glimpse of their bhakti click below: http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/101/2110/1600/P2280211.jpg Now, you may decide for yourself, if bhakti if bhakti of Krishna needs to be kept in a shelf or needs to be distributed. If you want to know what the Guruvayoorappan wants, just read the gita: 18.67 This confidential knowledge may not be explained to those who are not austere, or devoted, or engaged in devotional service, nor to one who is envious of Me. 18.68 For one who explains the supreme secret to the devotees, devotional service is guaranteed, and at the end he will come back to Me. 18.69 There is no servant in this world more dear to Me than he, nor will there ever be one more dear. " Devotee/bhakta " does not mean born-Hindus. That has been already proved. All said and done, don't forget the metal detector and armed guards. Our philosophy is the highest, but our feet are still grounded in reality. Guest guest
Om Namo Narayanaya!! I fully agree with Mr. Murali. We are waisting so much energy and time in arguments on such subjects. Rather, we should concentrate on issues, which can purify our mind and body through spiritual path. Now, It is better to keep quiet and follow the system as it is, as it will keep the purity and sanctity of Guruvayoor Temple.
