Guest guest
!! Sri Rama Jayam !! And 'Atmanivedanam' becomes the nineth step of devotion. King Bali stands as the classic example of this type. Realizing that the supreme is standing at his door as a brahmana, he surrendered all his belongings & himself (body, mind & soul) at the feet of lord. Eventually Lord became his gaurdian till eternity. Therefore, there are nine kinds of devotion and not eight. This is better known as 'Navadha Bhakti' as similarly described by Sri Rama to Mother Sabari.
