Krishna , Guruvayoorappa !

Dear Devotees,

I bow down to the sincerity of member-devotees , and wish them all

success in their endeavours to serve Sri Guruvayoorappan.

Regarding the existing scenario in Guruvayoor, I wish to note the

following :

1). The officials in the Devaswam board are agents of politicians . They

gang up with the government to share the fortune among themselves ;

and most of the decisions are taken just to suit with their business

interests . I am sure that , the Government's top fuctionaries were

taken into confidence prior to effecting the controversial change in

Udayasthamana Puja . Unfortunately we don't find true Bhaktas in the

Government.

If ordinary men like us approach the Devaswom Officials with suggestions

, they will not take us seriously , because their interests are

elsewhere.

2) . In Gurvayoor bulk of the business around the temple is controlled

by non-Hindus . Many of the shops have Hindu names but belong to

non-Hindus especially muslims . These well organized people are not

well wishers of the temple , but nevertheless have very strong influence

in Devaswam and Government . In fact the major temple associated

Contract works are the monoply of non-Hindu Contractors and Suppliers.

3). It is not easy to bring in temple-friendly changes , because of the

immensely powerful vested interests mentioned above . They will thwart

all such efforts .

4 ). Gurvayoor temple's success depends entirely on Guruvayoorappan's

proven grace and His trusted systems and resources . The place is divine

, Deity is God-given, Temple-consecration was done by Brihaspathi and

Wind-God , Rituals were established by divine saints like Adi Shankara,

Traditional well qualified saintly Thanthris and Pujaris are performing

all the required rituals strictly in accordance with the sacred rules ,

Utsavams are held regularly, Anndanam is in place , Devotees are doing

worship with great faith , etc, etc.

It is due to these positive factors that , the temple sustains it's

relevance irrespective of the numerous negativities created by the

demonic gangs mentioned in item # 1 & 2. In fact the gangs' plans have

had failed in the past because they were legally forced to obtain the

Thanthri's " No Objection " , before changing the existing systems .

The Thantri is effectively supported by the traditional Brahmin priests

and supporting families ( Uraymakkar) , associated with the temple ;

and they are truly loyal to Sri Guruvayoorappan . As long as this system

of 'Urayma' is in place , Guruvayoor temple will reatain it's glory and

power.

5). Under the existing cicumstances , one should not feel much

discontented with the facilities existing in Guruvayoor . In the case of

Thirumala temple , the entire area is owned by the temple . But, in

Guruvayoor most of the surroundings are owned by a hostile public . Even

the people administering the temple want to keep this status-quo. So ,

let us be practical in our hopes.

6). I do agree that, now one has to often stand in the Q for long . But

the waiting period can be used productively for 'Nama-sankeerthanam' .

The entire premises of the temple is blessed with Bhagavan's manifested

energy or aura (Chaithanyam) . He is not limited to the Sanctum

Sanctorum alone . It is a great opportunity to chant His names anywhere

in the divine premises or adjacent areas of Guruvayoor temple . A person

who faithfully chants Bhagavan's names can feel his/her spritual

interaction with Guruvayoorappan .

In view of the above , let us think well and implement the practical

action plans as an offering to Bhagavan , using the favourable factors

mentioned above .

May Sri Guruvayoorappan bless you all !!!!

A humble servant .
