Udayasthamana puja-white paper

Shree Sunil's suggestion to prepare a white paper on

the recent changes envisaged by the Devaswom on

matters relating to the number of Udayasthamana Puja

that shall conducted on a single day is commendable.

 

Long and lenghty memos may not be read, instead will

collect dust .

 

One option is to collect the opinions thru'

attachments and copy them into and send as one file.

 

Alternatively the members as a whole is represented by

the Group and the suggestions are presented in a

concise form with the names of the signatories (if

necessary).

 

I am giving below the concise form of the suggestions

made by our various members.

 

The points noted below may not be conclusive. Those of

you whose raised points and are not mentioned here

shall include the same.

 

If any new ideas come to the mind please do place the

same also.

 

I suggest that the matter shall be copy and pasted and

do the editing.

 

Once we feel that the same is presentable, we can send

the same to the authorities . Alternatively if all

feel that all the points noted are one way or the

other seems to be their opinion, all can join as

signatories and the same send to the authorities.

 

Collectively the points are:

 

1. The Tantri's word shall be deemed as final

2. Administarion shall not interefere in matters

related to the Puja vidhi.

3. The reduction of the waiting period is certainly

necessary but the same shall be done without making it

a money spinnner for the Devaswom.

4. The above point is supported as-the cost of the

Puja remaining the same the participants shall be

benefitted by way of dividing the total cost among

themeselves.

5.The matter shall be widely discussed .

6.The matter should be put before those persons who

are in the know how of things like Tantri and other

learned persons of the State.

7.It is also suggested that public opinions be sought

before taking major decisions on such sensitive

matters.

8. Such changes are to be totally avoided and the

temple should be run as per the rituals prescribed by

Shree Adi Sankaracharya.
