Giant idol of Lord Krishna reaches Guruvayur Monday, September 25, 2006 GURUVAYUR: A giant idol of Lord Krishna made of black marble weighing 4000 kilograms and seven ft height was presented to the Shreepadmam in Guruvayur. It was offered by Mahanarayana Girimaharaja of Dashamukhi Mahakali Mandir Subash Nagar Ashramam in Jammu. The idol made by sculptor Kaalicharan of Jaipur took almost 1000 days to complete it. The idol brought in a lorry was unloaded using a crane. http://www.kaumudi.com> THE BATTLE OF KURUSHETRA WAS BETWEEN GOOD AND EVIL. LORD KRISHNA HAS ALREADY ADVISED US IN CLEAR TERMS TO DESTROY EVIL FORCES. THE OUTCOME IS ALWAYS A VICTORY WHEN SHRI VASUDEV HIMSELF RESIDES WITH THE UPHOLDERS OF DHARMA < Proud to be a Hindu Hindu Pride will lead to Hindu Unity!
