Dear Devotee Members,

I think it is a shame for us to in-fight in the name of our God.

How can we talk about issues like religious conversion or eradication

of poverty when we fight about our own Gods and their supremacy???

I think the reason for Hinduism's suffering in recent decades is due

to this division among us, not because of other religions or money

pouring from outside. Why blame others for the lack of our unity?

Anyway, I request all of you to take a minute and think about what we

are doing in the name of God!

Please respect others and their views. Let us stop wasting our time on

proving whose is the supreme God. (I am sure that discussion will not

reach anywhere except every one calling each other bad names)

So, let us move on to Bhakti.

Om Namo Narayanaya:

Krishna, Guruvayoorappa!

Amme Narayana:

Sunil.

Dear Sunilji and Guruvayur group's Members,

It is indeed a great fortune that I came to know about this forum.

I hope we all agree that the discussion was in a spirit of humour and

there was no ill intention between any of us as finally each and

every one of us are brothers and sisters on the basis of having the

ONE Father who is addressed by innumerable names.

Shree Guruvayurappa Sharanam! Hanta Bhagyam Janaanaam!

I am extremely glad that Shri Sunil brought back the focus to bhakti

and thank you for all the supporting postings. To be very honest, as a

new member of the group I was quite baffled by some of the recent

postings and was even wondering if I reached a wrong forum. I was

struggling to connect why WE are wasting time on such thoughts. I

agree with KVG that 'investigative' spirituality - I liked that term:)

- be the focus of those who are trying to quench the intellecual

appetite if they care; and here, let us turn to the 'applied' aspects

of what we learn from Gita and other valuable scriptures our

forefathers left for us. Let us cleanse our thoughts in the extreme

Krishna Bhakti rasam and expend our energies only on thoughts that

would be positive for our own minds and the humanity.
