Dear all,

The Lord made me suggest, in my own humble way that we should all spend

simultaneously, at least one hour per day between 6 PM and 7 PM IST (if

not full hour, at least part) on singing or chanting the hymns praying

to Him. I feel sorry that the Lord's advice conveyed through me to

the group has not even taken note of. So far as I am concerned, I

recite quite a number of dasakams.

the Forum to Chairman Shree K.V.Nambiar and also spoke

to Shree P.N.P.Panikkar, member, Guruvayur Devaswom

Board (copy sent to Shree Panikkar too). He said that

the Board is meeting on 16th to decide on the

Devaprasnam to be conducted to know ‘Bhagavan’s view

He said the present Tantri and his son are willing to

go for the changes but Tantri’s younger brother (who

He also said that they have received quite an

Dear All, It was a wonder effort by the members to make a memorandum on the Udayasthaman Pooja and submitted to the Devaswom. It is even exciting to hear that there 9is going to be a Devaprasnam and the matters would be decided by that.We should pray for the success of the Devaprasnam in our own way for sure. But there are small points which I would like to caution: Devaprasnam can be a bribed one as happened in Sabarimala. The contractor Mr Janardhnan wanted to make a 90 crore Nada pandal which would have coveered the whole temple and destroyed the beauty of the temple. He bribed the Pannikker who was supposed to conduct the Devaprasnam and told him to say that in the Devaprasnam God wanted a Nada pandal which Mr Panikker did from his capacity. The Thantri opposed the same tooth and nail and then everybody knows what happened.Jaimala had a good

relation with the Panikker and eventually she told that she had enetered the temple .The final evidence from the probe team shows that she has not even seen the temple.Second the Thantri was made a scape goat in the scandal which also was proved eventually. The media took a lead to expose the negative things but they did not even care to expose the truth when it was proved the other way. In the end what i mean to say is that Devaprasnam can also be influenced. The people inside the temple have no regards for the God as hass been the receent cases of bribing in Guruvayoor.I am very sure that the Lord will take care of those peopole but then by that time the damage would already be done. I hope things go fine and we have the devap[rasnam decision in our favourIt is quite appreciable when the amount of coordination is considered among the team members. Good Luck. Dear Chandraji and others,

Radhe Krishna!

It is heartening to note that we are getting into the Nama-parayanam

habit again. I hope Chandraji's words will evoke more response from

devotees. Personally, I am looking for a day when all other activity

will be stopped and only prayer will be in everybody's mind, wherever

they are. We should remember that the two sandhyas are meant and fit

only for prayer. and anything elsae done during that time will have bad

consequences Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakasipu are examples. Even

eating during the Sandhya time leads only to indigestion. One can

defer eating by a few minutes before or after Sandhya So this time of

Sandhyas should be kept aside for praying to the Lord. . And more so,

the Pradosha sandhyas, during which, only Lord Siva and Sakti should be

worshipped. It is said that Lord Siva makes Sakthi seated on a

pedestal and performs the Cosmic dance (the Siva-thandavam) during this

time, and all Gods will be in attendance. It is also said that prayer

offered to any other God during this time will be a disturbance, and

unless there is an emergency , such prayer to the other Gods during

this time, may even evoke the Gods' displeasure

It would be a good thing if temples of all other Gods are kept closed

during Pradosha Sandhya.
