The temple is an exact replica of the Sabarimala temple with Gold plated 18 steps and a replica of the original idol done using the reflection in a mirror. You are allowed to abode the 18 steps only if you have IRUMUDI, otherwise you can use the steps from backside. Nanjangud has the biggest temple complex in Karnataka for Lord Shiva and is also known as Dakshina Kashi.
