!! Sri Rama Jayam !!

Dear All,

Wish to bring out an important thing to all our notice. The purpose of this group formation is specifically to join people in terms of the line of 'Bhakti' or 'Spirituality'.

As Sunil ji mentioned, the group is getting bigger every day & hence it steer the need to contain a broader perspective in terms of topics addressed by the respective members.

Accepted ! that there a lot of topics which nourish our life & work. And, therefore the group-members can continue with discussions the way they want - but without challenging the theme set upfront. I hope our new members will help to retain the correct requirement of the group. Addressing equal respect to all members, my suggestion would be to create a sub-group where more of general topics could be discussed upon. Let us not mix too many topics together. The Guruvayur group must go in it's usual way.

Welcome your suggestions.

Hare Krishna

Hare Rama

Dear Devotees,Thank you to all of you responded and expressed their opinion. But, I would like to hear from more members. Please do not feel thatyour reply has to be 'politically correct' along with other member'sview point. We are getting bigger as a group and we have people with variedinterests, backgrounds and opinion. Five people wrote to me personalyabout the reasoning behind some of the recent mails being published. Some really liked those motivational mails - like the ones ourSridharji has contributed. Some questioned and objected about notgetting carried away from anything other than pure bhakti messages. And there is no confusion at my side regarding Ramanji's mail or thesubjects we needs to be included in the group. BUT, it is an openforum of devotees and YOUR opinions are more important than mine. So, we need to hear from all of you. I welcome your frank opinion andI would like all your replies to the group rather than to me. Please.Let us hear from all members.Om Namo Narayanaya:Sunil.guruvayur , "sreedhar c.p" <sreepal20 wrote:>> Hare Krishna,> > When considering the Majority Decision we can avoid Non-Bhakthitopics. The other topics arethirteen to the dozen and available everywhere and it is difficult tofind spiritual topics which are made easily available to all . It islike classical music. If you want a larger crowd you have to enticethem by improving the quality and not by diluting it. You have to pullthem to your level and should not degrade yourself to their level. Ifone is not able to find what he wants in ine group he can alwaysswitch to other group but the group cannot be tailored to meet hisneeds. Moreover bhakthi cannot be induced by the methods like danglingcarrots in front of a horse. It should come by the grace of God. Youcan to create faith among youngsters not by writng what they like butwriting what> theyneed.Honestly I don't think that any youngster will join thegroup unless he has faith and bhakthi. To him you have to give what helooks for and not what he has already familiar with.About people whotalk about bhakthi but not act accordingly is a concern between themand God. All the spritual books and gurus have said that if you wantspiritual progress satsanga is very important and also that the othertopics and activities which take you away from your goal must bereduced if not avoided. The attitude should be to aim high and not lookdown. A kite flies high but always looking down to see whether thereis any flesh for it to eat. The legendary chathaka bird looks up anddrinks only rain water and woul dnot accept any other. It is for themambers to decide whether they want to be chathakas or ordinary kites.> Saroja Ramanujam> > > Hare rishna,> > The varied subjects all concerned day today happening on in our lifeand it is said on different ways.
