Dear Devotee members,

The vote is out and majority of replies suggests us to stick with

Guruvayoor and Bhakti related matters.

So, let us stick with Guruvayoor and Bhakti related topics MOST of the

time. As Sarojaji aptly pointed out, there are many groups out there

for other topics but not many for Bhakti. So, please cherish our small

group.

Topics and news articles with SIGNIFICANT educational value are still

welcome. Like the important events in member's lives, prayer

requests, Dengue fever remedy, mails like why 'Our Mother is truly Our

First God' or 'Pooja finding her parents' etc. Because we are God's

devotees and we can't avoid Dharma and Seva.

At the same time, please avoid articles that anyone can read elsewhere like

jokes etc. Let us avoid hatred & ego clashes among members, religious propaganda

and topics that has no merit to our group of Guruvayoor Bhaktas.

I request all of you to think twice before sending any articles to the

group. Please do not make moderators life difficult by sending mails

that has no place in our group. We are not POLICE folks but humble

Guruvayoor devotees like you. So, please be considerate about our

time and bhakti. I pass the responsibility of deciding what is right

for our group to you and use that responsibility before you send anything. It is

easy, if you think our group as your own family.

Another subgroup for motivational and non-bhakti educational matters is being

created and interested members can join and share articles

there. I will send a separate mail for the same.

Thanks to Ganapathy Ramanji for starting this discussion.

Following is the description of the group that we at the group web site.

----------

Guruvayur group is a place for Guruvayoorappan/Krishna devotees to

discuss devotional matters. We share our experiences * discuss bhakti

* ask questions * clear our doubts * and make friends with other

devotees from around the world.

----------

Let us all hope to GROW SPIRITUALLY RICH with the help of our group

and get closer to God Almighty.

I pray Guruvayoorappan to bless our group and help us move ahead in

the right path.

May God bless you all.

Om Namo Narayanaya:

such articles should be educative and should not lead to any kind of

hot arguments among the members. However, we must not forget

that the main aim of this forum is to discuss the glories of our

Kannan and we must stick to the same.

groups that cater to the interest of youngsters and by publishing

non bhkati topics no one can attract them to this group and that no

youngsters will take interest in this Group unless and until he/she

has a mind inclined to Lord and HIS Bhakti. This attitude one has to

develop with Sravanam, Keertanam and Satsang and for developing this

the atmosphere at house plays a very important role. A child growing

up in an atmosphere, where the parents are spiritually minded, shall

develop such attitudes and shall take interest in gorups like this.
