Guest guest
OM NAMO NARAYANAYA Inspired by the postings in this group on Guruvayur Ekadashi Fast, I attempted to keep the fast. I am so happy to say that with Lord Guruvayurappan's great blessings I was able to fast without taking even water until next day, Dwadashi. This is the first time i have done so,and all along i was a little apprehensive as i am so used to taking a cup of tea at least by 9 am. I am really grateful to this group for providing the necessary motivation to the mind to do such a fast. I again thank Shri Sunilji and Symalaji and also the other members of our group. But i have a special thanks to Shri P.S.Vinod for introducing me to the Vanamali ashram site through his posting on 'Mannarshala' i followed the link to the vanamali ashram site and beleive me it made wonderful reading on ekadashi day. Mata Vanamali incidentally is an ardent devotee of Lord Guruvayurappan and presently is staying at Rishikesh,at the foothills of the Himalayas. I implore all you members to please go through the entire contents of the vanamali ashram site for a super spiritual feel. Especially the pages on Badrinath. so overcome was i with positive feelings that i phoned the ashram and had the good fortune of talking to both Vanamali amma and Br. mohanji. Tears flowed freely from my eyes as amma spoke to me so lovingly calling me 'molle'. she was happy to hear that i was doing the ekadashi fast and invited me to come and see her at her ashram. Thru the Vanamali ashram i also found a link to another site ammucare.org (ACT)which is doing great charitable work . it has been started by mr. Mohan of dubai in memory of his 4 year old daughter who was killed in an accident.mr. mohan has risen spiritually thereafter to such an extent that he has had the fortune of being in the company of several spiritual masters both at kerala and abroad. i had the good fortune of talking to him too today and his spiritual guru Shri Sunilji of sneham trust. What can i Say of these experiences except that one of the everlasting experiences of life is to be in the company of spirtually evolved souls. reading their experiences and devotion a spiritual tide has overcome me. Thank you Vinodji once again. humbly, jayashree
