Sree Guruvayoor Appa namostute!

It would have been very helpful if any Guruvayoor Appan Devotee could

spare some time to explain the meaning and the significance of " Loka

Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu " .

I don't know whether it is a principle exclusively from the Hindu

philosophy.

I got the passage from a web-site of Saibaba:

http://www.saibaba.ws/prayers/lokasamastasukhinobhavantu.

Loka Samasta Sukino Bhavantu - Meaning: May the Lord bless the whole

world with eternal peace and goodwill.

Also, I had recently read a passage: " Do unto others as you would have

them do unto you " (Ref. Religion for Dummies. ISBN: 07645-5264-3,

page: 34), which also conveys almost the same message, but to a

limited extent.

Most of the Guruvayoor Appan Devotees (the learned ones) may find it

very simple and explicit. But I am sure there may at least a few like

me who will be benefited if some one explains the significance in some

simple language.

With unqualified respects to all other Guruvayoor Appan Devotees,

Yours sincerely nb nair.
