OM NAMO NARAYANAYA

KUCHELADINAM [20.12.2006] The first Wednesday of the month of Dhanu is celebrated as Kuchela Dinam. It is based on the belief that it was on this day that Kuchela offered Avil to Bhagwan and in return attained eternal bliss and material property. Avil offering is considered auspicious on this day.Radhe Shyam,Arun

Hare Krishna,

As per my knowledge there is no temple dedicated to Kuchela in kerala. but in Guruvayoor celebarate as Kuchela Day in Dhanu (December-January) the day on which Kuchela visited Sree Krishna with beaten rice.

One of the important things to understand from this episode is that krishna character while giving he forget himself. that is friendship means. for us lot to learn from this.

wonderful is kannan Leelas !!! beyond imaginations. With Love,Sree
