Guest guest
HARI AUM The latest one surprises with its contents. M/S Sindhu and Sukumar have beautifully created the feelings of Bhakthi in the opening pages of the issue. Shree Sukumar has condensed the essence of the Sabarimala pilgrimage in his concluding lines-'thatwamasi'-the one we get to read once we climb the 18th step at Sabarimala temple. Shree Gopalakrishnaji takes us to Mathura and partakes us with the greatest event of our lord. Thanks a miu and we look forward to more of such journeys. Gopalavimsati by our beloved Dr.Sarojaji, is full of insights about our Bhagavan. Thanks also for her readiness to teach us Sankrit. Smt Veenaji's pages on verses from Gita's second chapter is a must for all. This chapter essentially covers the whole of Gita. The verses are so important that it really gives one a firm hold on his existence, in whatever conditions one may be. So please do take the freedom and pleasure to initiate discussions on the messages of the verses. Prof Krishnamurthyji's article on JADABHARATHA is perhaps the most informative. He has done a great job by bringing out the hidden jewels of our great rishi parampara. These articles not only imparts knowledge but also elevates us and make us more proud of our heritage and leniage. Hope he will enlghten us with more of such episodes and people. Smt Neena Manoj's capsule on our Bhagavan's history has helped to go back to the events and run them in our minds. Thanks a lot for the reminders. Shree Manikantan's article on MakaraJyothi has come at the right time. I am sure it will evoke a call to visit Sabarimala. I am sure in the present conditions visiting during the Makaravilakku will cetainly drain away almost all the mortal sins. Such is the rush during this time. Shree Valluvanadan's compilation of Shree Sankara's story is written in very simple and yet evocative style. The best part is the exhaustive list of our great Saint's works. lastly the pictures of Angkor Wat really captures our imagination. Let me round this with a request to all to come out with your sincere suggestions on 'Navaneetham', as Shree Sunil requested in the opening pages, so that the Navaneetham betters from issue to issue. The editors really deserves every bit of our appreciations- CONGRATULATIONSSSSSSSS Regards Balagopal NARAYANA NARAYANA NARAYANA ________ India Answers: Share what you know.
