Guest guest
HARI AUM Temptaions are the culprits, and that too when it tickles the senses-Bhagavan warns-Be cautious. It is the ENEMY no.1. But when the sight takes you to the beautiful spread of 'NAVANEETHAM' I think we can, like a child, throw the cautions into the air and indulge. I am sure Bhagavan will correct himself and say-'na papamavapsyasi' The picture of Raman and Sita reminds one of the need to stay together, both husband and wife in the battle of life.(times are such that most of us get used to the habit of use and throw). Happy Rama Navami. No words to describe the Bhakthi of Shree Sukumar. He said it right-when you see Bhagavan after the 'ucha puja', having feasted with 'palpayasam', the happiest and most contended of all times, one does not have anything more to see in his life. Dr.Sarojaji's 'Gopalavimsati' is a treat.Azvar rightly said when he described the lotus feet. Read it to enjoy divinity. Smt Sathya's sketch of Unnikrishnan is well done. The eyes do come out alive when we look at it. The page on the Chapter 2 verses of 'gita' by Veenaji deserves a special mention. The details remarkably covers a major point-that of the revival of Hinduism. Here we see our Bhagavan pinpointing the causes of failure. Running around doing a lot of things(e.g.rituals) doesn't take one anywhere except go round and round. I recommend all to study what she has written. this will prompt one to develop a habit of reading 'Gita'. Thanks a lot Valluvanadanji for the 'pooram' tour. I was under the impression that 'Arattupuzha' presiding deity was 'Shiva'. I remember somebody telling that 'Arattupuzha' thevar while going for 'parayeduppu'does not step out of his owned land-which means he owned up so much of land! Also 'thiruvambadi' is Krisnan. Then why only Kanimangalam has a 'purusha deivam'? Pictures by Ramu Katakam deserves a special mention. He has literally made the issue very informative and colourful. I still look forward to see many many more new names in the 'NAVANEETHAM'. There is enough and more members who can contribute very knowledgable, informative and interesting articles. More pictures, photographs, etc will make it still more interesting. Hope someone will think of posting the very many characters that surround the stories of our Bhagavan. Anyways though last but with full of gratitude I place on record our whole hearted appreciation to all the EDITORS who have taken their valuable time out and given this TREAT for all of us to savour.
