Hare Krishna ! Dear Bhakthas,

The media is madly debating about "The necessity to avoid elephants in Temples" . As usual, the so called "secularists" supported by minority-fanatics, don't find it necessary to use elephants in temples . They have even approached the court to sabotage Hindu festivals like "Thrissur Pooram" .

Elephant is a sacred animal to Vedic followers since it resembles Lord Ganesha . They never fail to serve the elephant whenever given an opportunity . Recently , while attending couple of temple festivals , I noticed how well the elephants are being cared . When a Mahout comes to a house seeking something for the elephant , devotees enthusiastically oblige him just like making offerings to Lord Ganesha .

The Court while rejecting a plea seeking prohibition of elephants in festivals , commented that , in Thrissur Pooram elephants are being treated very well .

My humble to request to all Bhakthas is not to get carried away by the distorted propaganda-campaign in the media .

Your servant,

Krishnadaya .
