The popular saying “He, who can catch a glimpse of the

dwarf (meaning Jagannâth) on the car, will have no

more re-births” brings, on that day, hundreds of

thousands of worshipers to Puri.Is not this car but an

allegory, meaning, in reality, the human body. The

true significance of the verse, therefore, is that he

who can see or find the Spirit (Jagannâth, or the

dwarf) enthroned in his body will have no more

re-births.

 

This is the same as we visit a temple. Everytime it

reminds us-shed the external and keep going inside to

discover the true 'self'.

 

A very powerful concept laid out in a very simple and

practical method for all to make use of. Travel any

part of this country, one can find a temple espousing

this simple wisdom. Knowingly or unknowingly let us

keep visting the temples. One day one will find his

match in the sanctum sanctorum and realise.
