Guest guest
Dear Shri Jayashree, Though this is addressed to Jayashree, it could be applicable to a few if not all in our group. Sunilji had given in his reply from his own experience to overcome the grief in a matured way. Sarojaji has explained to you in a motherly way, and in a scholarly way to the rest of us. We are lucky to have Sunilji as the moderator of this group who at a very young age can think maturely and the wise and scholarly advice from Sarojaji add flavor to the recipe. I can give you a piece of my mind which I hope will give a little peace of mind to you. Your family lost a life but gained another life. Now you are even. God has given a chance to see these two events with even mindedness –Sama chitthatha- in loss or gain, pain or pleasure, and failure or success. Your son has failed in eleventh as he did not study – that is a student’s karma – and today he is rewarded with his karma phala. Do not worry. After all, failure is the stepping stone for the success. He is the same boy who got 86% marks in SSC and if he studies now and make use of the present with single pointed concentration – ekaagra chittha- that is the yoga of a student, success will follow him tomorrow. I am sure of it. You claim that you lost your mother, but if say that she has gained moksha can you deny? Suppose if she is still alive today with the burn injuries unable to do normal routine, lying in bed depending others for everything, which even she would not liked it at all. So your loss is her gain. Wake up Jayashree. I would like to see the same person who was energetic and reverberating with full of bhakthi and doing the swadharma without complaints. You, as daughter can do your duties to your father, as a wife can do your duties to your husband, as a mother can do your duties to your son so on and so forth. Do not worry over the past. You are alive today and thank God for that. Live the present and do not worry too much about the future. If you perform your duties today the result of it you will enjoy in the future. No advice from outside will help you at all. You and you alone can do it by yourself – I repeat YOUR SELF-. Do not allow the grief to control your mind but your mind should be the boss to control the grief. Take care of yourself. I pray not only for the well being of your family but all the members and their family of our group. Ohm Narayanaya Namah
