What a beautiful temple!!Most of our temples and architectural marvels like Madura Meenakshi, Shree Padmananabha Swami temple (Thiruvanathapuram) are built centuries ago. We have very few temples that we can proudly say that we built in the last 50 years or so. That is where the importance of Swami Narayan temples comes in - all Swami Narayan temples are master peaces when it comes to design and architecture. I visited Akshardham Swami Narayan Temple in Delhi last year. I was truly speechless and mesmerized by the grace and the beauty of the temple that was completed about four year ago. I recommend anyone visiting Delhi that they must visit Akshardham temple. It makes you fee proud of our culture. Swami Narayan temples are good examples of positive merger of new ideas with old architecture and values of Hinduism . Using the good side of modern technologies and project management with the greatness of our ancient culture, temple architecture, stone carving etc. to create a place of worship as beautiful as we humans can imagine. An important aspect of Swami Narayana temples are successful Project Management and execution. I certainly hope that you all will unite, conceptualize and participate to build similar or better temples and towns in India and abroad for our future generations to enjoy. Madura Meenakshi and Akshardham are certainly great examples of human creativity and what is possible.It gives me great motivation and a sense of excitement that we have such good examples in Today's world and to be (cre)active to conceptualize and execute such divine tasks to completion.
