Dear Geethaji and other members,

You do not need a webcam or any other high-end equipments for reciting

and recording slokas. We are not making any professional quality audio

as such.

The main thing you will need is a computer microphone. Most of the

computers come equipped with the same. If not, try to get one from any

computer store, a basic model would cost about Rs 100 or so in India

and about $10 in US. (Those who know the prices, please correct my

guesstimates)

Then go to Windows main menu (Programs)

Select 'Accessories' option

Select 'Entertainment' sub option

Select 'sound Recorder' option

This will open the Windows Sound recorder program. The control buttons

are more like an old tape recorder. Press the Red recording button and

start singing. Use the STOP button when you finish and play the file

using PLAY button. If you are satisfied with the sound and singing,

then save the file and send it to us. If not, discard the recording and

re-record until you are satisfied with the Slolam.

Please let us know if you need more assistance, we all are here to

share our knowledge.

Om Namo Narayanaya:

Sunil.

Hello Sunilji,

I remember in one of your mails, you had mentioned

that each member records the Mahamantra chanting and

post them. We usually have a satsang every sunday for

mere chanting of 'Hare Rama..Hare Krishna' and

therefore I have recorded a video of the chanting to

share with the group. Do let me know how can I upload

them.

Radhe Krishna!!!

Hello Remaji,

I am very glad that at least someone took a note of my suggestion.

People are more interested in protesting than prostrating these days!

Kali yugam, I shall say! So, I am very pleased to know that you are

having Sunday bhajans and sharing the video of the same with us.

Please use the Guruvayur channel on www.youtube.com to upload your

video. I will send you the user name, password and instructions to

upload in a separate email.

I request all other members to follow Remaji's example and help to

create a video of our group members reciting Slokas and Krishna Japams.
