Guest guest
That is a vague statement.Krishna Himself says that He is Gayathri in meters, Margasirsha(Dec-Jan) in months,Spring in seasons etc.So in Raga too He must be one or many.Of course Punnakavarali is not His raga as the same is considered to be the Raga of Serpents. For Siva also generally it is believed Kambhoji,Sankaraparanam,Kethara are His favourite ragas.Ravana made Siva pleased by singing Kambhoji.I think Bhowli,Brindavana Saranga,Hindolam must be the favourite ragas of Krishna.May be I am wrong. As Krishna seems to hv not mentioned anything abt the ragas I presume one of the above must be His favourite raga.A good musician will be able to answer this,I feel. Why can't the great TNS shuld be addressed and find out,Madam.Saroja Ramanujam <sarojram18 wrote: Krishna Himself is the raga, He is the rasa .
