Guest guest
Hi Arun, I have been to this temple many times, it is indeed a kochu Guruvayoor and the temple has been built by a lady. The temple is constructed in Kerala architecture and you need to be in traditional cloths (mundu, no shirt) to get in. The temple is in banks of a small stream and that makes it even beautiful. Take the Kanakapura road, pass the Art of Living ashram and travel another 3-5 kms, please keep an eye towards your left because there is a very small board which mentions the place. You need to have your own transport the first time. Guest guest
Hi I was a regular visitor to this temple in Kanakpura road. This is immediately after the art of living centre, and there is a sign board as well. It comes by the left of the road. The poojavidhi and the anushtanams are all that of Guruvayur temple kerala. The thantris are malayali namboothiris. In fact they have come home to perform Ganapathi Homam. The temple is located in a serene atmosphere. You feel 'at home' there. Guest guest
Hi, You have to travel a few kilometers after the entrance of "The art of living" @ Kanakapura road. (Around 24 Kms from the signal of JP Nagar-Kanakapura Road Signal /Junction) Once you cross the "Twinklers" School compound situated on the left to the kanakapura road, pls take the left lane - a mud road which goes to Bannergatta. The temple compound can be seen there. Good luck & have a good Darshan. Guest guest
Dear Arun, Radhe Krishna. Yes, I have gone to this temple and had the "Choroonu" of my little grand-daughter conducted there. I think others have gi ven you most of the info I wanted to give you. The only additional information I can add is their telephone No., which is 28433106. One of the Trustees, whose name is N. Ramachandran, has a tel. no. 26538633. Love KVG.
