Dear Devotees,

Hare Krishna Hare Rama

Greetings

This is Srinivasan father of shreya. This group prayed for my daughter

shreya to recover from her major brain surgery. By the grace of the

Lord Guruvaurappan she is doing well. I once again thank you all for

your prayers. I also request our group members to keep her in your

prayers for her ayur, arogya, swokyam. Here I have written about my

trip to guruvayoor and Tirupathy during this summer. Me and my family

(with shreya) visited India (we live in Orlando, Florida, USA) during

the month of May/June especially to visit Tirupathy and Guruvayoor. I

and my wife went by walk from Tirupathy to Tirumala. It was a

fascinating experience walking through the seven hills. We booked our

tickets in advance for darshan. We stayed for more than a day and had a

wonderful darshan of Lord Balaji. The atmosphere was fully charged with

the holy names of Govindha. The exhilarating experience one feels at

Tirumala can not be explained in words. We also visited the adjoining

temples Sri Lakshmi Hayagrivar, Sri Varaha Swamy and Anjanayar in the

mada veedhi. After having the darshan of Lord Sri Hari we went to

Alarmelumanga Puram to have the Darshan of Goddess Padmavathi. After

waiting in the queue for half an hour we had very good darshan of

Goodess Padmavathi and prayed for her blessings.

On Wednesday June 20th we went to Guruvayoor from Chennai. One of our

family friends who live in Trichur booked a lodge for us near the

temple. After taking bath we went to the Guruvayoorappan temple. We

were just in time to do the thula baram for my children and our family

before the temple closed for the noon. After having lunch we came back

to the temple to stand in the queue. We were standing in the line

chanting the holy names of the Lord Guruvayoorappan. When we were about

to enter the sanctum sanctorum my little daughter shreya was already in

sleep. We tried to wake her up, her eyes half opened she again went

back to sleep. With the devotees pushing and thronging to have a

glimpse of the lord, it was your turn to see the beautifully decorated

lord guruvayoorappan in sandal wood paste. I can not describe the

beauty of our Krishna, it was so wonderful. I stood there in front of

the Lord for few seconds and prayed. When we came out of the sanctum

sanctorum, my wife wanted to go and see the Lord one more time when my

daughter was awake. We were wondering how we can go again to see the

lord since the queue was so long. My wife then saw there was some

special entrance on the right hand side and stood there. But the guard

told her that the entrance was only for senior citizens and told her

that there was a separate queue for the ladies on the left hand side

and advised her to stand in that queue. When my wife went to the

ladies queue she was surprised that the queue was small. With in few

minutes she along with my daughter shreya had the darshan of the Lord

Guruvayoorappan. This time my daughter was fully awake and had

excellent darshan of the Lord. I personally believe this because of

the mercy of the Lord Krishna. Inside temple we also went to the

sannidhis of Lord Ayyappan and Bghavathy Amman. On the same day

evening, we went to Mammiyoor temple. We had very good darshan of Lord

Siva and Goddess paravathy, Lord Narayana, Lord Ganesh, Lord

Subrahamanya and Lord Ayyappa. The Mammiyoor temple is really a very

beautiful temple.

The next day morning On June 21st, we again went to the Guruvayoor

temple to have his darshan one more time. Since it was a Thursday, the

queue was very long and it took us more than three hours to have the

darshan of the Lord. This time Lord Guruvayoorappan was in different

alankaram (decoration). We enjoyed and mesmerized by the beauty of the

Lord. After our prayers and shashtanga namaskarams we went to back to

our lodge and packed our things to go back to Chennai. I pray to the

Lord to bless me to visit guruvayoor quite often and shower his

blessings on this group and its family members.

Thanks for your time for reading such a long email.

Regards,

Srinivasan

Krishna ! Guruvayoorappa ! Dear Srinivasan ji,

'Bhaktavalsalan' has done it again . He has saved the life of little

Sreya . For sure, He has blessed her with 'Ayur Arogya Saukhyam' . Also

, Bhagavan has tested you with minor obstacles , but you came out

succesful in the test by not giving up . It's all Bhagavan's 'leela

indeed . Such divine experiences can't be explained in terms of logic .

Those who are fortunate will experience it whereas those destined to

suffer ( due to their bad 'karma' in the past and present lives ) will

not accept the very existence of Bhagavan .

When I first read your letter on Sreya's illness , I was 100% sure that

given an opportunity Bhagavan will save her life . But I was 'skeptic

whether you and wife will perform the sustained worship of

Guruvayoorappan. I had sincerly prayed to Bhagavan to provide you and

wife the right attitude to perform uninterrupted Bhakti-yoga to Him .

Indeed, He has heard the prayers of all we devotees and provided the end

result as requested . Bhagavan is with you and family . If you don't

give up your present bhakti , He will be with you all for ever .

All glories to Bhagavan Sree Guruayoorappan !

Krishnadaya
